Construction is a Second generation Church
Building Specialty Firm. The business was
founded in 1950 by Charles F. Hanger, Sr. Mr.
Hanger a home builder from 1948-1950 received
his calling to serve the Lord by building Houses
of Worship. In 1970 his son Charles F. Hanger,
Jr. also received his calling and began Working
on church construction sites as a laborer while
attending high school. In 1977 he graduated from
Texas A&M University with a degree in Building
Construction. This degree includes a background
in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental
Design and Construction. He also holds a
Drafting Degree and has a background in Business
& Financing.
The Passion within Hanger Construction
continued by personally studying the Best church
construction in the world. Malan, Florence,
Vence and Rome, Italy. These visits broadened
the horizon of this company showing it takes
generations to meet
the Lords vision. 550 completed projects and
still going. However you cannot study only the
past but you must also explore the future.
Continuing education by this company through
Texas A&M School of Architecture shows visions
of the future.
